POUR DIP ON
TOP OF WIPER

The wiper on the Thrifty Dipper must be saturated with your dip. Simply pour your dip on top of the wiper to allow it to absorb the dip.

SQUEEZE TO
FILL CHAMBER

Never fill upper chamber more than 75% full. There must be enough expansion room in the upper chamber so that when the teat enters, the dip will not overflow.

DIP 10-20 COWS
WITHOUT SQUEEZING

Milkers should hold the Thrifty Dipper by the upper chamber when dipping. The squeeze bottle does not need constant pressure. When the upper chamber is 75% full, milkers will be able to dip 10-20 cows without squeezing the bottle.

CLEAN THE
DIP WIPER OFTEN

The wiper on the top of the dip cup needs periodic cleaning. When using for pre-dip wash after every shift. When using the post dip, once every three days, or as often as needed to keep the wiper clean.

To clean, simply remove the snap ring and gently lift the wiper out of the dip cup. Submerge the wiper in a bucket of warm water and sanitizer. The bristles will relax and debris will fall out. DO NOT USE circulating water to clean the wiper, as this will have a tendency to tangle the bristles and decrease the life of the wiper.

WARNING: DO NOT put the upper chamber of the dip cup in hot water!
